Better Living Art Camp
We partnered with the Chaffee Zoo, Live Again Fresno, and Boy's & Girl's Club West Fresno to bring the children to the Zoo to not only educate children on the different styles of art, but give them a different environment to open up and expresss themselves while creating their own art. In the fall they will continue their artistic journey at the Zoo by creating art inspired by animals. Parsec Education has also joined the partnership, which which allows the students to explore the different types of art through hands-on experiences
Unity within the Community Exhibit
In an effort to build connections with community groups and K-12 students in the Fresno area, the TRC partnered with Live Again After School Programs and Better Living Art Club. The collaboration Unity within the Community aims to provide children served by Live Again Fresno an opportunity to see themselves and their artwork beyond Parkway Drive, bridging the gap between West Fresno and Fresno State. Unity within the Community Season 2 Exhibit
A collaboration exhibition between Live Again Fresno x Boy's and Girl's Club West Fresno. One half of the gallery was mood boards made out of blank skateboards, where the youth created based on the current mood they were in while listening to hiphop instrumentals. The second half was a group project where the youth learned about African Cubism and worked together to create their best pieces with a little Pablo Picasso inspiration using oil pastels.
